How to Follow Up
1. Be certain that your voicemail has a friendly, professional message when you start looking for a position.
2. Be certain that roommates or family members who answer your phone understand that you are in the job market and that they can answer the phone and take a message politely.
3. Check your voicemail frequently and return phone calls promptly.
4. It is appropriate to send an emailed and written thank you note to the interviewer. The following is an example:
